Dwell Right There 😍🤗

Y'know... we all mess up at some point in our lives.

In fact, if we're really, truly honest, we can even admit to some low point in our lives when we were just lost and confused and found ourselves stuck in the same rut and making the same mistakes over and over again.

Actually, we shouldn't even speak about that so definitively in the past tense, because the truth is it could still very much be happening to us today.

Does it make you a bad person if you find yourself helplessly in this conundrum?

Emphatically... No. It does not.

What it DOES indicate is that you may need a simple, yet life-transforming perspective change.

"But how can I do this?" you may ask.

Well, here's a simple 3-step process to getting your mentality where it needs to be and giving yourself the best shot at being the best you that you were created to be:

1. See yourself

The first thing that you should do, is to take some serious timeout to deaden the noise of life with all its loud interruptions and shouts of "Go". 📢  If you have to change your environment or take time off from work, then do it... it'll be well worth it.

Then turn the spotlight inward and just take stock of where you are in life and inventory the different habits, situations, circumstances, weaknesses, etc. that you can identify as holding you back.

It's an important step, but don't dwell there.

2. See yourself as you really are

Now that you have a fair assessment of the lay of the land that is you.  Start to strip away any of the lies, the masks and the façades that you may have built up over the years.  It's okay, no one else is looking on for you to be embarrassed.  Just be honest with yourself about what are the things that have had you helpless, the things that might make you realize how wretched you are.  These may be things you'd never want to admit to another human being, but it's important that you admit them to yourself.

It's an important step, but don't dwell there.

3. See yourself as God sees you

This is now the final step.  All that is required, is for you to realize that all those things you discovered and uncovered in steps 1 and 2... God already knew about them... before you did... and in more depth than perhaps you ever will... and guess what... He STILL loves you. ♥❤😍

God wants you to realize that your innermost and most secret thoughts are not hidden from Him.  He wants you to open up to Him and lay everything bare before Him, so He can then start to mould you in a more excellent way.

God sees you as His beloved creation, with whom He longs to have a beautiful, open, intimate relationship filled with love, joy and fulfilment.  He wants you to realize that you can let Him in.

It's a very important step, Dwell Right There.
